Rug Hooking Week at Sauder Village is filled with inspiration, creativity and just plain fun. The week is made up of a gallery style exhibit, a grouping of creative vendors, 4 days of retreat classes as well as half and full day workshops all set in the charming setting of Historic Sauder Village, with beautiful accommodations at the Heritage Inn or Sauder Campground and the delicious food of the Village restaurants and bakery. There are several ways to attend Rug Week... as a 4 day Retreat Student or for 1 to 4 days to see the exhibit, shop the vendors and maybe even take a workshop. Whether you participate in a portion or all aspects of the week, plan now to attend one of the most respected and popular events in the rug hooking world... you will be glad you did! Registration is simple and can be completed online.

Rug Week at Sauder Village includes...
4 day Retreat... Open to Retreat Students (Only) from... Monday, August 11 – Friday, August 15, 2008
Check-in on Monday afternoon and spend four full days of concentrated rug hooking study with a select teacher in an ideal setting. Pre-register early, as instructors are assigned on a first-come basis. Click here for details about the Retreat and to Register.
Exhibit Open  to the Public from... Wednesday, August 13 – Saturday, August 16, 2008
One of the most beautiful displays of hooked pieces you will experience, with entries accepted in seven categories. Click here to pre-register your rugs. Featured Display... "Celebration Exhibit"... Rug Hooking magazine's "Celebration of Hand-Hooked Rugs XVIII". Your only opportunity to see an exhibit of the year's BEST rugs exclusively at Sauder Village!
