Historic Village Happenings...
From winter classes and shopping to wonderful dining opportunities – Sauder Village is a destination of choice offering year round opportunities!
As the seasons change, the corn shocks and pumpkins throughout the Village are
soon replaced with Christmas trees and holiday lights. Although the Historic
Village will open for the 2009 season on April 28, there are still LOTS of reasons to join
us during the winter months. The special events at the Barn Restaurant, tasty treats from the Doughbox
Bakery and unique shopping opportunities should keep you coming back again and
again. Plan a visit to discover all the history, hospitality, creativity and fun that we have to offer.

Join the Sauder Village Team!

more fun to be a part of the Sauder Village family of employees
and volunteers! Whether you are looking for a part-time job or

us a call to learn about more possibilities. Some of the

for you to get involved at Sauder Village.Call the Human

Shop Talk... Have you ever
wondered who is the one responsible for the vast array of unique
and quality merchandise available in the many retail shops at
Sauder Village? For the past 11 years, Leslie Hartman has served
as the Retail Manager / Buyer for Sauder Village. In addition to
her wealth of retail experience, Leslie has also helped to make
our retail shops known on a national level through her involvement
in the Museum Store Association. An international organization,
MSA helps advance the success of cultural commerce by helping
retail professionals better serve their own organizations and the
public. We are pleased to announce that Leslie Hartman has been
elected to serve as Second Vice President of MSA for 2008-2009 and
will eventually move into the role of President of this
association that serves nearly 1,650 institutions around the
world. This is a true vote of confidence for Leslie and our retail
shops here at Historic Sauder Village.
